Riot Gym was created out of a need for purposeful group fitness that makes you want to show up. It’s for anyone who wants to get stronger and who want to improve their physical health. Personal goals and journeys, but with the motivation of a group setting.
Our sessions are structured and programmed to improve strength and endurance, and they’re made to suit all fitness levels. It’s not just training. It’s a community that keeps you moving.

Classes

Improve your cardiovascular fitness without sacrificing muscle gain. A combination of resistance and cardio designed to build strength and endurance simultaneously.
Hybrid

The same programming principles as our adult Hybrid class — cardiovascular fitness and muscle development without compromise. YTH ages 11 to 13
YTH+ ages 14 to 17
YTH HYBRID &
YTH HYBRID+

A whole body pilates workout — carefully curated, dynamic, and low impact. Expect a combination of stretching and strength building moves that will bring the burn and leave you invigorated.
PILATES

Friday nights are all about giving you the space and time to train how you want. Follow your own program, catch up on missed work, or just get a solid session in.
A coach will be on the floor to guide and support where needed.
OPEN GYM

A beginner HYBRID class that has an intake every 10 weeks. A small and supportive class that provides coaching on form and gym basics. All abilities welcome, aimed to build confidence.
HYBRID FUNDAMENTALS

1:1 or small group personal training sessions available. Let us know how our trainers can personalise the session to suit you goals.

Meet The Trainers
ToM
Tom is a PT and Run Coach, with a background in mixed martial arts. One of the owners of RIOT, he runs HYBRID, Youth HYBRID, HYBRID Fundamentals and Personal Training sessions.

Rachel
Rachel is a pilates instructor and a part onwer of Riot Gym.

Holly
Holly is both a PT and a Pilates Instructor, Holly runs both HYRID, Mat Pilates classes and Personal Training Sessions.

Tim
Tim is a PT who runs HYBRID classes and personal trainer sessions.

Jaz
Jaz has a Bachelor of Exercise Science and is completing her Masters in Exercise Physiology. She runs HYBRID, Youth HYBRID+, HYBRID Fundamentals as well as Personal Training sessions.

Grant
Grant is a Crossfit Coach and runs our Friday Open Gym Sessions.

Tom Jenkins
Head coach and the heartbeat of RIOT.
Tom leads the majority of sessions across the week and brings a no-nonsense, results-first approach to every class.


RACHEL JENKINS
Rachel is the other half of the team that built RIOT from the ground up. Alongside running the gym with Tom, she coaches our popular Pop Up Pilates sessions.


JAZmin Clark
Jaz coaches Hybrid and Youth sessions and brings the kind of energy that makes 5:30am feel worth it


Holly Nelson
Holly coaches Hybrid sessions with high energy and a genuine passion for helping members build real consistency.


Tim nelson
Tim has been in the fitness industry for 8 years and coaching group fitness locally for 3 of them — so there's a good chance you've already trained with him.


Grant mitchell
Grant was a RIOT member long before he became a coach, which makes him exactly the kind of person you want leading a session.
